I have always enjoyed making posters, flyers and logos. I have a degree in graphic design. After four years at the Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht I have pretty much found my own style. I like to experiment with graceful shapes and cheerful colour palettes.
I made this book cover in Adobe Illustrator. I wanted to capture the Breda atmosphere in a simple cover. Breda makes me happy, so I also used happy colors. I started drawing simple faces. I combined them with other simple shapes. This colorful mess is what came out.
Creating a cover for a book is always a fun challenge. I created this book cover from a simple sketch. I worked out this sketch in Adobe Illustrator. It had to be a cheerful cover for a cookbook. I experimented with a soft color palette and simple shapes.
I made this poster for a summer party that takes place in a meadow. It had to have a cheerful and rustic look. I sketched a landscape that looks something like it. I added lots of bright colors and shapes to it.
This oliebollen flyer had to have a wintery, nostalgic look. I got my inspiration from vintage posters. That gave me the idea to put all the information in a decorative frame.
